The Fourth painting in the Gold Coast, Queensland Australia series. In this painting I used both the realism and impressionism method to archive this still life and garden artwork all in watercolors. The table setting of the same flowery chinas were painted in every detail and tonal value in shades of blue and magenta for light and shadow for the objects to pop of the table. The scenery looks like a cozy sunny afternoon scene. So, I use a lot of light colors to compliment the cool colors to bring a realistic afternoon look to the painting garden scenery and table setting. The purple flowers were painted as an expression of shapes and brush movements.as well as the garden bush in front of the table.

This painting is a work of happy get together moments and creating great memories with family.
