Finished painting from the studio.
Look at the garden scenery doesn't it look dreamy. The painting is exactly as I visioned it. The Watercolor impressionism style makes the garden artistically beautiful. This time I took my time to paint the flowers in the vase. It took me one hour just to make that few bunch. I decided to go for a realism style so it can stand out from the impressionism garden landscape. And it was the best decision in painting.
Another side of the painting
The Steel goblets and jar on the table was something I wasn't looking forward to painting. I wasn't sure if I will do a good job painting them. I don't think I remember painting a Steel metal object before. But , I accepted the challenge and took my chances in hope that I will not ruin it and destroy all the painting together because watercolor is very tricky. Once a mistake everything will be a mistake. Instead of being afraid of potential failure I decided to paint the Metal objects anyhow I wanted. I'm making Art after all. Art is freedom. And my free expression of how I painted my Metal objects worked just fine.
If you notice, there is a plate of sandwiches in the painting. So, I made a sandwich for myself after the painting was completed. My sandwiches may look a bit ugly. I never said I could cook. I only know how to paint. At least it was an ok sandwiches. I made tuna sandwiches with some eggs and lots of vegetables. It 's a healthy meal for a painter like me.
I took this shot from my studio towards the evening. This is the full 18×20 inches painting on the wall. The 8th painting from the Gold Coast, Queensland series.
