Biography

Sunshine Happiness Amos is a Flower impressionist painter born in 1994 Ikeja,Lagos Nigeria. She grew up in Nigeria and Ghana and re-located to Togo In 2020.


Sunshine's Art journey started as a child when she was gifted a set of Watercolors and colored pencils by her Mother. She started painting illustrations from children's story books and took drawing illustrations as a hobby. After graduating from Secondary school she went to various Art Vocational Schools to hone her drawing and painting skills from 2013 to 2022.


During her years studying various Art techniques in her vocational art schools; She found her true passion in Flowers and garden landscape. She was inspired by the shapes and colors of the garden scenery. She started to paint garden sceneries with Gouache and Acrylics and became an impressionist painter due to the way she paint by brush strokes expression and focus on colors and shapes of the subject matter in the garden paintings.
Sunshine later went to became an impressionist Still life garden painter. Which is inspired by flowers in a vase with a garden surrounding. She started her Still life flower Art creation in mid 2021 as an escape from reality and anxiety disorder. She said the focus of Still life mixed with garden scenery is like painting a realistic dream of peace, hope and wellness. As her interest in painting home objects and flowers began to grow. She focused on painting Still lifes with watercolors and Acrylics for the next two years.


Sunshine's Still life works is inspired by Homes and gardens from mostly Japan, England and America.
Her Still life is simply an Art of Home and Garden. And a celebration of Everyday living.
Her Garden and Still life works have been wildly appreciated by Art admires and Collectors.
